The Patient Education Programme

We run a series of education sessions at the NSIC,
and patient leaflets are distributed to those rehabilitated here.

• • Some of the information from those sessions can be reviewed via the downloadable pdfs in the next section, so you can refresh your understanding of the key messages whenever you wish.
  • Everyone in the unit has access to these courses, as long as they are physically able to attend.
  • Others, such as those with learning disabilities, short stay patients, brain injuries, ventilated and non English speakers, are likely to have 1 to 1 sessions instead with the Patient Education team.
