Telephone, telehealth & web

We are constantly designing different ways of giving you the knowledge you need

We provide telephone counselling, telehealth services and Web-delivered services (such as this website) which are increasingly popular ways of overcoming distance, transportation and accessibility barriers in promoting health and well-being.

  • Right now we can offer Microsoft Teams video sessions either in a group setting from patient education room or from your bedside on a 1 to 1 basis.
  • Zoom sessions will be considered too.

NOTE: If a family member would like to virtually participate in sessions, they can join in too.

What is the aim?

The aim is to use information and communication technologies to connect patients with clinicians and other members of their care team for direct service delivery, as well as monitoring and follow-up.

Telephone counselling and similar approaches can provide information to you at the right time, during the period when information is needed and seen as most relevant.

New devices for the NSIC Patient education

Bucks Freemasons have kindly donated 2 tablets to the NSIC Patient Education team to assist in supporting patients to access the Patient Education website and Peer Support video education sessions, whilst some members of the team are working from home in the current climate.

This is very exciting news and we are grateful to Buckinghamshire Freemasons for their support.
