Clinical Psychology

On your first admission to St Francis Ward, we will introduce ourselves and arrange to meet with you and your family members.  

• We aim to help young people and their families to cope with some of the difficulties that can come from having a spinal cord injury, or its treatment.
• The Clinical Psychology Department also runs a Child Relative’s and Siblings’ Workshop twice a year.  
• The workshop is an opportunity for brothers and sisters of young people with a spinal cord injury to gain peer support and education within a fun and creative setting.  
• The NSIC Adult Relatives’ Day is held on the same day.
