On your first admission to St Francis Ward, we will introduce ourselves and arrange to meet with you and your family members.
We aim to help young people and their families to cope with some of the difficulties that can come from having a spinal cord injury, or its treatment.
The Clinical Psychology Department also runs a Child Relative’s and Siblings’ Workshop twice a year.
The workshop is an opportunity for brothers and sisters of young people with a spinal cord injury to gain peer support and education within a fun and creative setting.
The NSIC Adult Relatives’ Day is held on the same day.
